Several days before the mission.
Ask for documents such as blueprints, photos, videos, and any other information about the flight environment.
Use this information to fill the mission assessment matrix (available here)
Then verify the pilot level required for the flight.
Fill the method statement with the asset manager (available here), and define a flight plan with the information provided.
Day of the mission: Before flying
Once inside the asset, make a visual observation comparing it to the flight plan defined before and adjust if needed.
Set up your equipment, and check the condition of the drone:
Once the drone and the GCS are powered-up:
- Create a mission on Cockpit.
- Perform the last check before the take-off: LED test, Camera Tilt.
You are ready to take off.
